The Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended 21 suspects in connection with recent killings and other criminal activities in the state. Following the tragic deaths of four individuals, including a motorcycle ticket agent, in Ado-Ekiti, the arrests were made after a thorough investigation by the command.
According to DSP Sunday Abutu, spokesperson for the command, the suspects were detained for alleged involvement in armed robbery and cultism. Investigations revealed their roles in reprisal attacks linked to various cult groups operating in the state, notably the 'Eiye Confraternity'.

Among those arrested were members of a notorious gang allegedly from Plateau State, implicated in the violent acts. Abutu assured that the suspects would face legal proceedings soon and urged residents to stay vigilant while supporting law enforcement efforts to prevent further crimes.
