Former Ondo Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, expressed confidence in winning the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary for the November governorship election, believing he will secure a comfortable margin. Ajayi is one of seven aspirants vying for the party's flag bearer position, with 627 delegates expected to participate in the polls.
Having campaigned across the state's 18 local government areas, Ajayi highlighted his candidacy as the best option to defeat the APC and bring about positive change. He emphasized that if delegates fulfill their promises to vote for him, the November election would be a straightforward victory for the PDP.
Ajayi stressed his political will to transform the state for the betterment of its citizens, pointing out the divisions within the APC and the need for a strong candidate like himself to secure victory. He assured delegates of his plans to develop infrastructure in riverine communities, create jobs, and improve the lives of the people of Ondo State.
