Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) Confirms Accident
The Director General of NSEMA, Abdullahi Baba-Arah, confirmed the incident in a WhatsApp message to journalists, stating that emergency response teams and volunteers were involved in the rescue operations.
"NSEMA has received a report of a road crash that occurred today, 3rd February 2025, in Agaie LGA, along Agaie–Lapai road, around Al’Farma International School Agaie. It was a head-on collision of three trailer trucks, one carrying cattle and goats. The cause of the crash was attributed to wrong overtaking."
Casualty and Rescue Update

- Two others succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
