National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has dismissed circulating 2027 presidential posters featuring him and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, as fabrications. Ganduje, through his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, on Sunday in Abuja, labeled the rumors as "entirely false and a malicious piece of fake news."
The APC has attributed the posters to mischief-makers, possibly linked to elements within the Kwankwasiyya movement, aiming to create discord between Ganduje and President Bola Tinubu. The statement emphasized Ganduje's unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu and his full support for the President’s leadership.
Ganduje assured the public of his commitment to President Tinubu's vision for Nigeria and urged people to disregard the false narrative. The APC cautioned against spreading unverified information that could cause unnecessary disaffection.
