Gov. Yahaya Urges Nigerians to Pray, Stay Hopeful This Christmas

Gov. Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has called on Nigerians to use the Christmas season to pray for the nation’s prosperity and support President Bola Tinubu’s administration in its efforts to transform Nigeria. In a statement issued by Ismaila Uba-Misilli, Director-General of Press Affairs, the governor extended his Christmas greetings to Christians, urging them to reflect on the deeper spiritual significance of the season.

Highlighting the importance of prayers, Yahaya encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful despite economic challenges. He emphasized that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to build a resilient and prosperous Nigeria, urging citizens to stay optimistic and united in their pursuit of a brighter future.

The governor also called on Christians to embody the values of love, peace, reconciliation, and selflessness, which are central to Christmas. He reminded everyone to promote unity, cooperation, and mutual understanding as crucial pillars for a harmonious society.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to advancing development across all sectors, Yahaya wished Christians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
