Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has submitted a list of six nominees to the State House of Assembly for consideration as commissioners. The Speaker of the House, Ismail Falgore, revealed this on Monday while reading the governor’s letter to the Assembly.
The nominees are Shehu Sagagi, Dr. Dahiru Hashim, Ibrahim Wayya, Dr. Isma’il Dan Maraya, Gaddafi Shehu, and Abdulkadir AbdulSalam. Each is expected to bring expertise and experience to the state’s executive council once confirmed.
This development is part of Governor Yusuf’s ongoing efforts to strengthen his administration and ensure effective governance in Kano State. The nominees are set to undergo screening and confirmation by the Assembly in the coming days.
