Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, has terminated the appointments of 30 special advisers as part of efforts to restructure and strengthen governance in the state.
The decision was announced on Tuesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, who said the move is aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness in line with the administration’s New Niger agenda.
According to the statement, the governor disclosed this during his first Council meeting with the newly sworn-in commissioners at the Government House in Minna. The action, he explained, is part of a broader plan to rejig and reposition key portfolios to enhance service delivery across the state.
