The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s victory in two additional local government areas, Okitipupa and Akure North, in the ongoing Ondo State gubernatorial election.
With these results, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate has now secured wins in 15 local government areas.
Okitipupa LGA Results:
- APC: 26,811 votes
- PDP: 10,233 votes
- Registered voters: 126,021
- Accredited voters: 38,814
- Rejected votes: 858
Akure North LGA Results:
- APC: 14,451 votes
- PDP: 5,787 votes
Governor Aiyedatiwa’s strong performance further solidifies his position as the frontrunner in the race to retain his seat under the APC platform. Official results from remaining LGAs are still awaited.
