Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle effective immediately. Ademola Ojo, formerly the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives, is now heading the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters. Ojo previously served as the chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria.

Hon. Segun Olayiwola, who was the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Establishment and Training. Adeniyi Adebisi, the former Commissioner for Establishment and Training, will now lead the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives.
