The Managing Director of Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority (HJRBDA), Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, has commended President Bola Tinubu for allocating N150 billion for the Kano rail line project in the 2025 N54.9 trillion budget passed by the National Assembly.
In a statement on Friday, Bichi described the project as a transformational initiative set to enhance transportation, boost economic growth, and position Kano as a key commercial hub. He lauded Tinubu’s commitment to infrastructure development and praised the budget’s focus on revitalizing healthcare facilities.
Bichi also acknowledged contributions from Bichi Federal Constituency representative, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, and APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for their roles in securing developmental projects and fostering political stability. The Kano railway project stands as a significant milestone in Nigeria’s infrastructure journey under Tinubu’s leadership.
