The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has apologised to candidates over the delay in releasing the results of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on Friday, April 17, 2026.
The board had earlier announced that the second batch of results would be released on Saturday, but the delay sparked frustration among candidates who had been waiting.
In a statement issued on Sunday, JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, explained that the delay was due to the absence of the board’s chief executive, who was engaged in an official assignment.
