Kano Governor Abba Yusuf has extended his felicitations to President Bola Tinubu and New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate Rabi’u Kwankwaso on the occasion of Eid-il-Kabir. In a statement by his spokesman Sanusi Bature, Yusuf also expressed joy to the people of Kano State.
Governor Yusuf highlighted the significance of Eid-il-Kabir, describing it as a festival ordained by Almighty Allah for Muslims to sacrifice lambs in commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim's obedience and faith. He urged everyone to be their brother's keeper and share blessings with fellow Muslims across the state.

The Governor called on the people of Kano to celebrate peacefully and avoid actions that could disrupt law and order. He also prayed for a bountiful rainy season and high agricultural yields, noting that the state government has arranged support for farmers.
Yusuf reiterated his commitment to making Kano more prosperous, aiming for improved living conditions, a flourishing economy, and opportunities for hardworking citizens not only in Nigeria but throughout Africa.
