The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has praised Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, describing her as one of the most impactful lawmakers the state has produced since 1999.
Speaking in Lokoja while receiving a delegation of party members, Gambo urged constituents in Kogi Central to support the senator’s bid for a second term in 2027. He portrayed her as a “rare breed politician” whose leadership has brought both visibility and development to the district.
According to him, Akpoti-Uduaghan has demonstrated strong commitment to the PDP and has remained supportive of party structures across the state.
“She has displayed leadership qualities in an unprecedented manner. When she speaks, members listen. She is our leader at the state level, and we are proud of her stewardship,” he said.
Gambo noted that her performance in the 10th National Assembly has set her apart within a short time, adding that her representation has elevated Kogi Central’s presence on the national stage.
“She is the best senator Kogi has had since 1999. She is part of a winning team, and we cannot afford to change that. Another term will allow for consolidation and even greater impact,” he added.

He also highlighted her empowerment initiatives, which he said have benefited widows, youths, and small business owners, alongside the distribution of vehicles, equipment, and educational materials.
Beyond empowerment programmes, Gambo pointed to infrastructural projects such as school construction, road development, and market upgrades as evidence of her performance in office.
“Her name is now widely known across Kogi Central. Her record is unblemished, and her integrity stands out. The level of development she has brought in just two years is remarkable,” he said.
The PDP chairman called on party members to remain united behind the senator, describing her as a unifying figure within the party in Kogi State.
