The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Lasbat Mojisola, has unveiled a new lineup of principal officers, signaling a fresh direction for the legislative body. This announcement follows the dissolution of the previous committee.
Hon. Temitope Adedeji, representing Ifako Ijaye 1 Constituency, has been appointed as the new Majority Leader, tasked with steering legislative priorities. Hon. Richard Kasumu of Ikeja 2 Constituency will serve as the Deputy Majority Leader.
Hon. David Setonji, representing Badagry 2 Constituency, has taken up the role of Chief Whip, ensuring discipline and order within the Assembly. Hon. Semiu Okanlawon from Kosofe Constituency 1 will support as Deputy Chief Whip.
The appointments mark a strategic reorganization aimed at enhancing legislative efficiency and strengthening governance in Lagos State.
