Lagos Police Debunk Viral Video Alleging Human Parts Trade at Airport Road Restaurant

The Lagos State Police Command has dismissed as false a viral video claiming that killings and the sale of human parts were taking place in a restaurant along Airport Road.

In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the allegations were described as “baseless and unfounded,” warning that such content could spark unnecessary panic and tarnish the reputation of legitimate businesses.

According to Hundeyin, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, swiftly directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to investigate the matter. The probe revealed that the claims had no substance, and no incriminating evidence was found at the restaurant.

“The public is advised to disregard the video and continue their lawful activities, including patronising the said restaurant, as there is no evidence whatsoever to support the allegations,” the statement read.
