The Deputy Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, has passed away at the age of 55 after a brief illness. The sad news was announced in a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso.
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing Soyannwo as a brother and a dedicated servant of the people. The governor sent his condolences to the Soyannwo family and the entire state.
Soyannwo, born on October 3, 1968, had his primary education at the Corona School, Victoria Island, and his secondary education at Kings College. His passing is a significant loss to the Lagos State government and its people.
