The Lagos State Taskforce has ramped up its enforcement of the ban on illegal commercial motorcycle operations, commonly known as *okada*, seizing 82 motorcycles in various parts of the state. Recent raids in areas like Berger, Mile 2 Oke, and Orile form part of the government's efforts to maintain order on Lagos roads.

CSP Adetayo Akerele, Chairman of the Lagos State Taskforce, emphasized that both riders and passengers caught violating the ban would face prosecution. He stated, "Passengers on *okada* are as guilty as the riders. If caught, they will face the full weight of the law."
