Four days after being attacked by youths, Soji Adetunji, the lawmaker representing the Ifelodun/Boripe and Boluwaduro federal constituency, distributed televisions, grinding freezers, motorcycles, and sewing machines to his constituents. The Nation reported that a viral video showed Adetunji being assaulted and subjected to harsh chants by his constituents during a wedding in Ada last Saturday.

Nurudeen Abolaji, the lawmaker’s media assistant, clarified that the altercation involved youths from the Ikirun, Iragbiji, and Agba communities. Despite this clash, Adetunji proceeded with the planned distribution of items at Akirun High School, emphasizing his commitment to supporting and improving local businesses.
