A man, yet to be identified, was apprehended for possessing a bomb at a bank in Dadin Kowa town, Jos South area of Plateau State. The incident was averted after vigilant security personnel at the bank raised an alarm and swiftly immobilized the suspect to prevent a potential tragedy.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama, in a post on X, commended the quick action of the vigilante security team, who spotted the suspect with the bomb. The situation escalated as an angry mob demanded the suspect's immediate execution in response to the threat.
Following the apprehension, the suspect was handed over to the police for further investigation. A photo accompanying Makama's post revealed that the bomb was strapped around the suspect's belly. However, it remains uncertain if the suspect has any affiliation with a terrorist organization in the country.
