Nigerian Army Ambushes Terrorists in Kaduna, Kills Two

In a decisive ambush operation on Wednesday, troops of the Nigerian Army neutralized two terrorists in Kaduna State. This operation was disclosed in a statement shared on X.com on Thursday. The ambush took place along the Tasha-Bwari Road, a crucial link between Gurara town in Kachia and Kagarko Local Government Areas.

Acting on actionable intelligence, the troops launched a well-coordinated ambush, resulting in a fierce gun battle. During the engagement, two terrorists were killed, while others escaped with gunshot wounds. The soldiers recovered an AK-47 rifle with 27 rounds of ammunition, two machetes, two mobile phones, and N80,000 in cash, among other items.

The Nigerian Army described the operation as a significant blow to the terrorist network operating in Kaduna State. Commending the troops for their bravery and professionalism, the Army reiterated its unwavering commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring the safety of citizens.

This successful operation follows a similar one in May, where troops of the 1 Division, Nigerian Army, and Operation Whirl Punch killed six terrorists and arrested three others in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
