Ayiri Emami, a prominent Nigerian businessman and politician, has issued a stern warning, threatening to mobilize his people to occupy Ajayi Crowther University in Oyo State. This comes in response to the recent death of a 200-level student, Alex Timileyi, who was reportedly beaten to death at the university.

In a video that has since gone viral, Emami called out Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and the Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, for their silence and the school's failure to close following the incident. Emami demanded justice for the deceased, emphasizing that Alex Timileyi was a prince in the Uvwie and Warri kingdoms in Delta State.

Expressing his discontent in pidgin English, Emami stated, "The school should have been closed by now. But we don't want to take the law into our hands. Anyone who knows the Minister of Education and Seyi Makinde, you need to act fast."

Emami vowed to ensure that justice is served, warning that his presence would be felt if swift action is not taken. He emphasized the need for the government and school authorities to act decisively in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

The tragic incident, which occurred after Alex was accused of stealing a mobile phone, has sparked outrage and calls for justice. The school has since expelled the students involved and handed them over to the police. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Timothy Adebayo, has promised to ensure that justice is served and that the perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.
