Ondo APC governorship aspirant, Prince Jimi Odimayo, has expressed confidence in the fairness and transparency of the Dr. Umar Ganduje-led national leadership of the party. Speaking in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Akure, Odimayo praised the direct mode of primary approved by the party to elect its standard bearer for the November governorship election.
Odimayo expressed full confidence in the committee overseeing the primary, believing that the APC national chairman would ensure fairness, transparency, and justice in the process. He commended the decision to use the direct mode of conducting the primary, citing the party leadership's dedication to principles of fairness and justice.
He stated, "I wish to emphasize my unwavering satisfaction with the decision to employ the direct mode of conducting the governorship primary of APC in Ondo State, under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Ganduje and the National Working Committee (NWC). They have exemplified a steadfast dedication to principles of fairness and justice."
Odimayo affirmed his confidence in the committee's commitment to upholding the integrity of democratic processes, highlighting his belief in the leadership's ability to conduct a transparent and credible primary election.
