Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji announced that his collaboration with National Assembly members and other stakeholders is driving sustainable growth and development. Speaking in Ado-Ekiti, he joined Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele to inaugurate various constituency projects, including a one billion naira road project and hostels for medical students at Ekiti State University (EKSU).
The newly inaugurated two-kilometre road was named after Governor Oyebanji, while the male and female hostels were named in honor of former deputy governors, the late Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi and the late Prof Modupe Adelabu. Other projects included a digital library in Ado-Ekiti and market and road projects in Iyin-Ekiti.
Governor Oyebanji highlighted that the collaboration with National Assembly members has been instrumental in mobilizing resources for impactful projects. The partnership showcases the potential achievements when leaders unite for the people's benefit.
Expressing gratitude to Senator Bamidele, Oyebanji emphasized that the new infrastructural developments at EKSU would significantly enhance the university's ability to provide quality education.
