Pastor Lydia Idoko, leader of Faith Women Fellowship Ministry International, has called on President Bola Tinubu to ensure his economic reforms consider the well-being of ordinary Nigerians. Speaking at the Women of Excellence conference in Makurdi, she urged leaders to seek divine guidance and not rely solely on their own understanding during these challenging times.
The cleric, who is also the widow of former Chief Judge of Benue State, Justice Alhassan Idoko, emphasized the unprecedented hardship facing the country, urging President Tinubu to listen to the cries of the people. She stressed the importance of receiving feedback on how reforms affect everyday citizens and encouraged leaders to reflect on the impact their actions would have on their own families.
