On the second day of the #EndBadGovernance protest, police officers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) fired teargas at protesters who insisted on demonstrating at the stadium area and within the city. Despite heavy resistance from security operatives, the protesters eventually marched away from the stadium and headed towards the streets.
As they moved, police officers began firing teargas, causing the protesters to scatter and run for safety in different directions. The incident, which occurred on the highway in front of the stadium, led to a stampede, resulting in injuries to at least one protester.
