Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale identified Sub-regional forces as the instigators of rising insecurity in parts of Northern Nigeria, according to a statement from the Presidency on Sunday. Ajuri Ngelale, highlighted this during a Sunday Politics interview on Television Continental (TVC). Despite this, Ngelale dismissed the possibility of a cabal taking over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's government.
Ngelale addressed various issues, including the economy, the impact of past government officials' activities, security challenges, and the Tinubu administration's efforts to address these issues. He emphasized President Tinubu's commitment to transparency and accountability, ensuring that no individual in the Presidency holds undue influence over governance decisions.
Regarding security challenges in the North, Ngelale acknowledged the existence of sub-regional and geopolitical forces attempting to destabilize the country. He assured that the government is actively working to address these challenges through collaborations and ensuring that those responsible for insecurity face the full force of the law. Additionally, Ngelale announced that President Tinubu would launch the National Student Loan Programme on Thursday.
