President Bola Tinubu participated in the Eid-el-Fitr prayers on Sunday morning at the National Eid Prayer Ground along Airport Road in Abuja, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Arriving just before 9 am, the President was warmly welcomed by top government officials, religious leaders, and dignitaries. Among those present at the prayer ground were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.
Later in the afternoon, President Tinubu will host guests at the State House for a luncheon to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking his first such reception since assuming office. Previously, the President had observed the celebrations at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos.
