President Tinubu Leads Rescheduled FEC Meeting Following Mourning Period for Late Army Chief

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is presiding over a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House in Abuja, resuming a week after the previous session was canceled in honor of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja. The meeting commenced at 1:11 p.m. in the Council Chambers.

In attendance are Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Head of Civil Service Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, and a representative of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The presence of nearly all ministers and cabinet members signals a return to the administration’s agenda.

The FEC meeting aims to address key national issues and strategic initiatives put on hold due to the recent period of mourning. President Tinubu’s leadership today underscores the administration’s commitment to continuity amid national events.
