President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to present the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a Joint Session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
The announcement was made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary on Thursday.
According to Akpabio, senators will initially convene in the Senate chambers before proceeding to the House of Representatives chamber for the joint session.
The 2025 budget presentation comes as part of the Federal Government’s efforts to outline its fiscal policies and economic plans for the upcoming year. President Tinubu is expected to provide detailed insights into the administration’s priorities for revenue generation, public expenditure, and national development.
This will be President Tinubu’s second budget presentation since assuming office in May 2023.
