President Bola Tinubu launched the African Counter-Terrorism Summit at the Office of the National Security Adviser in Abuja on Monday. The ongoing event, organized by Nigeria and supported by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, is scheduled from Monday to Tuesday, April 23, 2024, under the theme: 'Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Institution Building to Address the Evolving Threat of Terrorism.'
The Presidency had earlier announced on Sunday that the summit seeks to bolster multilateral counter-terrorism cooperation.
