In a statement issued on Wednesday night by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu extended his condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the Sokoto State government. He expressed profound sympathy and prayers for the repose of the traditional ruler’s soul and comfort for his family.
President Tinubu reaffirmed his administration's commitment to addressing security threats and effectively countering terrorism. He assured Nigerians that measures are being taken to enhance national security and tackle acts of terror decisively.
