Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed concerns over the destructive impact of "politics of bitterness" on the state's progress. Speaking on Tuesday during a visit from the House of Representatives Committee on Ports and Harbours, led by Chairman Nnolim Nnaji, Fubara emphasized the need for politicians to avoid actions that undermine peace and economic growth.
Fubara highlighted the significance of the seaports in boosting the state's economy, criticizing past political actions that have left the ports inactive. He stressed that prioritizing the state's development over political rivalries would lead to increased revenue and economic expansion, benefiting all residents.
