Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly left Saudi Arabia for Madrid, Spain, following escalating tensions in the Middle East after US-Israeli strikes in Iran.

According to reports, the 41-year-old forward departed Riyadh late at night aboard his £61 million ($81 million) Bombardier Global Express 6500 private jet. Flight tracking platform Flightradar24 confirmed that the aircraft took off from Riyadh at about 8:00 pm and landed in Madrid shortly before 1:00 am, flying over Egypt and the Mediterranean.

Ronaldo, who lives in Riyadh with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their five children, is said to have made the move as tensions intensified in the region. Reports indicate that the US embassy in Riyadh was struck by two drones overnight, causing minor material damage, according to Saudi authorities.

Iranian media also reported that a command and staff building in Bahrain was destroyed amid the unfolding crisis.

While there has been no official statement from Ronaldo or his club regarding the trip, his departure comes at a time of heightened security concerns across the region.
