On Wednesday, July 31, the Senate called on organizers of the proposed #EndBadGovernance protests to give President Bola Tinubu more time for his policies to yield the desired results. The protests are slated to commence on Thursday, August 1.
The Senate stated that one year is too short for the President’s economic and social policies to take root and produce significant outcomes. Senate President Godswill Akpabio disclosed the resolutions at a plenary session following an executive meeting.
