Nigeria's Super Eagles have kicked off their preparations for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, with six players already in camp.

The early arrivals include key players such as Victor Osimhen, Bruno Onyemaechi, Papa Mustapha, goalkeepers Kayode Bankole and Amas Obasogie, and striker Tolu Arokodare. Additional players from the 23-man squad are expected to join the camp soon.

Currently, Nigeria remains winless in four matches and sits fifth in their qualifying group, putting head coach Éric Chelle under increasing pressure.

The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in Kigali on March 21, followed by a home match against Zimbabwe in Uyo on March 25. With their World Cup qualification hopes on the line, the team is determined to secure crucial points in these fixtures.
