Suspect Confesses to Killing Friend and Others, Selling Body Parts to Ritualists

Babalola Dolapo Daniel, a suspect in multiple murders, has confessed to killing his childhood friend, Opeyemi Oyelakin, and four other individuals. Dolapo admitted to using a stick and a stone to kill his victims before stealing their motorcycles. He also disclosed that he sold his friend's body parts to ritualists in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Police investigations revealed that Dolapo committed murders in Kabba, Kogi State, Ife along Ilesha road in Osun State, and Ondo town. In October 2023, he and an accomplice, Sikiru Mutiu, dismembered Opeyemi's body and handed the parts to herbalists for rituals.

The police also arrested Abiola Olatunji Toheeb and Ayegbajeje Micheal, who received stolen motorcycles from Dolapo, and Oyediran Waheed Olaitan, who aided in producing fake documents for selling the stolen motorcycles.

In a related development, Adetokunbo Adesina was apprehended after attempting to extort N110,000 from his victim, whom he claimed he was hired to kill by three of her employees. Adesina falsely claimed to need the money for a surgical operation.

Another suspect, Abdullahi Fatai, was arrested for allegedly killing his wife, Olayode Morenike, following a domestic dispute. Fatai reportedly locked the victim's body in their house before raising an alarm.

These incidents underscore the importance of vigilant security measures and the need for the public to be cautious and report suspicious activities to the authorities.
