Popular Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, on Thursday laid his father, Pastor N.A. Adekola, to rest in his hometown, Otun Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The late cleric, who passed away in July at the age of 84, was honoured with a series of funeral rites held across Ekiti and Ogun states.
The ceremonies began with a Service of Songs on August 18 at Christ Apostolic Church, Akole, Abeokuta, followed by a Christian wake and lying-in-state on Wednesday in Otun Ekiti.
On Thursday, August 21, Pastor Adekola was interred in Otun Ekiti, with a thanksgiving service and grand reception held in his memory.
The burial drew a large gathering of Nollywood stars, including Ibrahim Chatta, Muyiwa Ademola, Eniola Ajao, and Ireti Osayemi, who joined family, friends, and sympathisers to celebrate the life and legacy of the late pastor.
