A 19-year-old woman, Fatimo Agboke, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her neighbor's son, Faroul Azeez, to death during a confrontation in the Ijegun area of Lagos State. The tragic incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on September 9, 2024.
According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, Agboke allegedly attacked the 20-year-old victim with a broken bottle, stabbing him in the neck. Despite efforts to rush Azeez to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries on the way.

The police were called to the scene, where they found Azeez's lifeless body in a pool of blood. His remains have been taken to Mainland General Hospital in Yaba for an autopsy. Agboke has been detained as the investigation continues to uncover the full circumstances of the incident.
