In alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s Presidential CNG Initiative (Pi-CNG), Tetracore Energy has entered a strategic partnership with Dangote Cement, a subsidiary of the Dangote Group, to supply Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for its logistics operations.
Under the agreement, Tetracore will provide 400,000 standard cubic metres (SCM) of CNG to meet the auto CNG needs of Dangote Cement’s extensive logistics fleet while supporting the broader adoption of CNG among auto users nationwide.
To facilitate efficient delivery, Tetracore will deploy cutting-edge mobile refilling units and establish mother stations at strategic locations across the country. This infrastructure is designed to ensure reliable access to CNG for Dangote Cement and other auto users, contributing to Nigeria’s transition toward cleaner energy solutions.
Dayo Williams, Programme Executive at Tetracore, highlighted the importance of the collaboration:
“This partnership underscores Tetracore’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions. By collaborating with Dangote Cement, we are supporting one of the nation’s largest logistics operations and driving the adoption of CNG as a cleaner, more efficient fuel option.”
This initiative reflects the government’s vision to enhance energy sustainability, reduce environmental impact, and promote economic efficiency within Nigeria’s industrial and transportation sectors.
