Tinubu Arrives Abu Dhabi for ADSW 2025 Summit
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Abu Dhabi early Sunday morning to attend the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), an influential global platform for sustainability innovation and development.
Touching down at 2:14 a.m. local time, President Tinubu was welcomed by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This year’s ADSW, themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” will feature President Tinubu showcasing Nigeria’s strides in energy sufficiency, transportation modernization, public health, and economic development. His participation highlights Nigeria’s dedication to addressing global challenges through sustainable and cooperative strategies.
Key Highlights of Tinubu’s Visit:
- Bilateral Talks: The President is set to engage with UAE leaders to strengthen Nigeria-UAE relations and explore opportunities for mutual benefit.
- Accompanying Delegation: Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar and other senior government officials are part of the President’s entourage.
- Return Schedule: President Tinubu is expected back in Nigeria on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
