President Bola Tinubu has approved portfolios for five newly appointed executive directors on the board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).
The announcement was made in a statement on Monday by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The appointees and their respective portfolios are:
Hajiya Biliquis Jumoke – Administration and Human Resources
Mrs Aisha Rufai Ibrahim – Commercial and Industrial Development
Mr James Abel Uloko – Corporate Services
Prof. Muhammad Bashar – Finance
Atika Ajanah – Projects
President Tinubu urged the new directors to work closely with the commission’s governing board to drive sustainable development across the North-Central geopolitical zone.
The President also recently approved the commencement of the appointment process for five new permanent secretaries. These include two vacancies created by retirements from Imo State and the Federal Capital Territory, as well as three zonal vacancies in the North-Central, North-East, and South-East following the creation of new ministries.
