President Bola Tinubu's one-year anniversary in office will be marked with a low-key celebration, according to Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris. This decision was announced during a World Press Conference organized to commemorate the anniversary, with Idris citing the current situation as the reason for the subdued celebration.
Idris was accompanied by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, at the conference. The decision reflects the government's recognition of the need for restraint and sensitivity to prevailing circumstances.
