Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Wizkid has offered fans a glimpse into his relaxed creative process, revealing that all his hit songs were recorded while he was sitting down. In a viral video, the "Essence" hitmaker shared that he doesn't stress himself when making music, preferring to chill and create effortlessly.

Wizkid mentioned that some of his biggest tracks, including "Holla At Your Boy," "Soco," "Joro," and "Ojuelegba," were all produced in this laid-back manner. He emphasized his aversion to the traditional promotional activities that come with releasing music, such as media interviews, stating that he has a clear understanding of what his fans want.

"You [P2J] know how my things be for Lagos. You’ve been in my house. You know what I do. I’m chilling. You get me, no stress," Wizkid said, highlighting the synergy he shares with producer P2J, whom he credits for understanding his unique creative flow. "All we have to do is turn on the mic."

The singer also expressed his disdain for the promotional side of the music industry, stating, "You see promo, I hate doing that sh*t. You know press, I hate doing all that sh*t, bro. I know exactly what the people want."

Wizkid's approach to music-making underscores his belief in authenticity and simplicity, relying on his natural talent and connection with his audience rather than elaborate marketing strategies. His confidence in his craft, combined with his partnership with P2J, has resulted in a string of global hits that continue to resonate with fans worldwide.
