Xi emphasized the need to strengthen global security governance and tackle key issues with solutions that address both root causes and symptoms. He warned that the world still faces serious threats to peaceful development.
In his speech, Xi also urged the group to advocate for peace in conflict zones, specifically calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and efforts to prevent further conflict in Lebanon. He reiterated the importance of the two-state solution for resolving the Israel-Palestine issue.
The Chinese leader underscored the urgency of ending the ongoing suffering in Palestine and Lebanon, stressing that BRICS must play a central role in promoting peace and stability.
