The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Monday, April 20.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, who advised candidates to check their results through the board’s official channels.
According to the statement, candidates can access their scores by sending “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number they used during registration.
The latest release is part of JAMB’s ongoing process of publishing results in batches since the nationwide examination began on April 16. The exam, which involves over two million candidates, is being conducted through computer-based testing centres across Nigeria.

So far, results have been released progressively, starting with candidates who wrote the exam on Thursday, followed by a combined batch for Friday and Saturday. However, the Friday–Saturday results came later than expected, causing frustration among candidates who had anticipated an earlier release.
JAMB later apologised for the delay, explaining that it was due to the absence of its chief executive, who was engaged in official duties at the time. The results were eventually made available on Sunday, April 19.
With the release of Monday’s results, the board continues its phased approach, assuring candidates that all remaining results will be processed and published accordingly.
