The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended 12 suspected vandals in Abuja during ongoing protests. Three individuals were caught attempting to vandalize infrastructure at the Moshood Abiola Stadium after scaling the facility's fence.
In a separate incident, four suspects were detained in Jabi for trying to damage streetlights. The quick response by the NSCDC prevented further destruction in these areas.
Additionally, a scavenger known as Baban-bola was arrested atop the newly inaugurated Wuye Bridge. He was allegedly attempting to vandalize the structure.
The NSCDC continues to patrol and safeguard public infrastructure, ensuring the protection of vital facilities amidst the unrest.
