The management of Tai Solarin University of Education has indefinitely suspended the traditional 'sign out' and 'log out' celebration activities for final-year students. This decision follows the tragic death of Hammed Ayinla Fabiyi, a 400-level student, who was killed by suspected cultists. The university aims to ensure safety and maintain a secure environment during the final examinations.

The announcement was made by the university’s ACEO (Information), Bankole Mofolorunso Adegoke, on Wednesday. Fabiyi was reportedly dragged out of the examination hall and shot by assailants on the school premises. Despite efforts to save him, Fabiyi succumbed to his injuries after being taken to two hospitals for medical assistance.
