Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting, which was initially scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Council Chamber, eventually commenced around 5 p.m. after it was relocated to the Conference Room of the President’s Office.
Among those in attendance are Babagana Zulum, Hope Uzodinma, Inuwa Yahaya, Hyacinth Alia, Biodun Oyebanji, Peter Mbah, and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, among others. Some states are also being represented by their deputy governors.
As of the time of reporting, the specific agenda of the meeting has not been made public.

However, the gathering comes shortly after an emergency meeting between the president and the leadership of the Senate held on Wednesday evening.
Speaking after that session, Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele disclosed that “far-reaching decisions” were taken on issues described as matters of urgent national importance.
The back-to-back high-level meetings have fueled speculation about ongoing consultations within the ruling party and the federal government, particularly as political and economic developments continue to shape national discourse.
